ZO 3-STEP PEEL
This anti-aging, moderate-depth peel contains a blend of salicylic, lactic, and trichloracetic acid (TCA) in combination with retinol cream, all of which causes sloughing of the damaged topmost layers of skin. It penetrates the epidermis and upper dermis to promote the turnover of cells and stimulate the production of collagen, while restoring moisture balance.
Benefits:
The ZO 3-Step Peel addresses a variety of skincare issues, including:
- Pigmentation from sun damage, such as brown spots and uneven skin tone
- Melasma
- Enlarged pores
- Uneven skin texture
- Dullness
- Acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
FAQ
What are the side effects?
- Redness that last a few days
- Temporary peels
- Temporary darkening of the skin
- Scarring (very rare when peel is performed but a professional)
Is there any downtime?
After a medium or deep peel, you will have downtime. A medium chemical peel requires at least 7-10 days of downtime. A deep chemical peel requires recuperation at home for 2 to 3 weeks.
When will I see results?
Once your skin heals, you will see the results. Healing time ranges from 7 to 14 days or longer for a medium peel. A deep chemical peel usually takes a bit longer to heal.
How long will the results last?
Most results are not permanent because our skin continues to age.
How often can I get a peel?
For medium depth peels we recommend getting a minimum of 3 peels 4 weeks apart, every 4-6 months.
For deep peels we recommend 1 peel once a year.
